Hello again!
I'm planning to take my students on as many field trips as my principal will allow. I feel that students learn so much during this kind of special activitiy. Not only do they soak up loads of educational information, but they experience education by doing something new and having the advantage of seeing first hand or doing first hand what they might only get to see in books or photographs.
I would like to teach 4th or 5th grade and give them an opportunity to visit several different types of places. Here are some ideas I have for now of places I would like to share with them.
Museum of Science
Fort Loudon
Aquarium
Creative Discovery Museum
